A boring, unglamorous gecko setup that has worked for two years
Nothing clever here, which is rather the point:
Heat mat on a thermostat, on one end only, so he can choose. Warm side around 31°C, cool side low twenties. Two hides — one on each end — plus a damp one for shedding, which is the bit people skip and then wonder about stuck shed.
Crickets dusted with calcium, D3 twice a week. Fresh water daily.
That is it. Reptile keeping is mostly thermostats and patience.
